"What a wonderful site you have, and what wonderful information! I teach beginning Spanish, K-12. This is a great conservation message to kids while they learn to appreciate the peoples and ecosystems of our southern neighbors. Much more interesting to read your stories than just hello how are you -- and a sideways approach to helping kids realize the value of conservation."

"The finished product of this interdisciplinary unit of instruction was extremely comprehensive. The lessons interfaced literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, art, and music. The result was astounding, motivating, and well done, evidencing collaboration, satisfaction, and effective learning."

"If other teachers have high populations of Hispanic American students, like we do, I hope they’ll use this curriculum as well. This topic of bird migration in the 5th grade units was highly interesting for our students. It was interesting for them to realize the connections between songbirds and the rainforest. They were so excited to learn that they might see a bird in their own backyard that has traveled to the rainforest."

"This program is a blessing for the kids who come from Latin America to the US where everything is strange to them. The Rainforest Alliance curriculum really connects them to their classmates and their new environment...This program also brought our school together as a community. It allowed me to work with other teachers and students that I don't otherwise get to interact with."

"I
became aware of the Rainforest Alliance through the Teaching Resources
Center at Radford University in Radford ,Virginia. My eight-year-old
daughter was required to do a project for a gifted course and subsequently,
we checked out a number of books, CDs and other materials. One
CD she checked out referenced the Rainforest Alliance and she went to
the homepage and found a wealth of information there within. The
materials included on the Web site provided me with the essential
information to teach my children ages eight and six about the importance
of saving our rainforests and the many gifts the rainforest provides. Through these materials, my children gained a 'real life' understanding
of the challenges and opportunities an actual child who lives in
the rainforest endures each day. As a result of her research, she
was able to develop a puppet show to share with other children the beauty
as well as the dangers the rainforest faces. As a parent I
found the materials to be aesthetically attractive and extremely
child friendly. Thank you again, Rainforest Alliance, for the
opportunity to take advantage of the informative materials found at your
Web site."
